I am considering starting small and simply grinding plastic for resale to other producers in the community, with the goal of creating income/networks to eventually move into production of my own items for sale. Can anyone give me an idea how active/saturated the market for preground plastic is right now? Specifically North America, although I am open to international, if shipping at startup isn't a huge barrier for a sustainable income. I would be approaching this as a side project intially, with hopes of leaving my day job once I have built up enough to purchase the other machines, workspace etc, while still being able to keep my young family afloat.
