The automotive industry uses a massive amount of this Paint Protection Film made of TPU(Thermoplastic Polyurethane).  It is highly durable, elastic in nature, resistant to impacts and damage, and is "self-healing" under heat.  In the industry, there is a massive amount of this material that is discarded as scrap.  I have reached out to many local recycling companies and they either have no interest as there is no known recycling solution for it, or it would require big disruptions in their industrial process to test.  I have spent the last 1.5 years searching on solutions, because of how much of this film that is discarded.  I have read a lot about Pyrolysis, mostly here: https://www.energeticforum.com/renewable-energy/7040-how-turn-plastic-waste-into-diesel-fuel-cheaply.html?highlight=polyurethane With that being said, there is so little information on this specific plastic, and it would be a shame to not continue to find a way to recycle.  I'm looking for any input on finding something for this. Thanks!
