Hey, i am from kenya and i run a street youth program called Tumaini (facebook page link: https://www.facebook.com/Tumaini-Childrens-Drop-in-Center-112344882149818/) We are really interested in this project. I just downloaded the files and will be visiting a machine fabricator tomorrow to discuss possible ways of making the machines.

@kimani cool i would suggest making a water collection system first then a cistern to store the water, then make a greenhouse for food production for the kids. look up vertical farming and hydroponics. that’s the next step

We have a farm and a green house. We have a spring next to the farm that we are planning to harness using a solar water pump this May. We are already doing recycling upto the shredding then sell to manufacturers to make plastic items. Unfortunately, we make little profit and that’s why we like the possibility of making items out the plastic we shred instead of selling to manufacturers for little profit.

Tryout injection molding then. I think that is the best option

Hey!

I would like to suggest Precious Plastic Recycling to Welthungerhilfe in Sierra Leone as a 3-year funded development project. Has anyone here tried to work with worldwide operating NGOs and could share some experience?
