Characterization of recycled plastc at the lab.

Hello Beautiful People,
I’m testing the recycled plastic (as we get after precious plastic process) at the Civil Engineering Laboratory here in Portugal as my final masters work.
Does anyone have characterizations about this recycled product? Or someone needs this kind of document to develop/get approvals for new product?
Next 6 months i will be researching the mechanical characteristics about our recycle plastic, like compressive strength, water vapor resistance etc.
If anyone can help, I appreciate it…
Of course, after the work done i will publish here the results.
Thanks

@marcoreschetti It is wonderful to hear that you will be able to do some material testing to evaluate the results of the recycling processes. Getting quantitative results for the effect that injection temperature, cleanliness, number of recycles, etc. have on strength characteristics will be a great step forward. It sounds like you are planning mostly mechanical testing, but if there is a way to get access to some chemical testing, there is a great need for outgassing measurements at the different temperatures used during the process. This safety issue currently does not have much data available and is needed.
