Fused plastic bread bags (LDPE) with iron

04/03/2018 at 21:05

My daughter and I saw this video:

Then we made a tote bag from bread bags we saved.
The sewing machine was broken, so we fused all seams together with the iron.
This bag is 3 layers thick. We didn’t use a pattern, we just folded it all together so we would not have any waste material.

Thanks for the inspiration!

If you do this.. make sure you use a iron with a teflon coating, and preferably a newer one that has not had the teflon worn off.. also no steam
