My name is Domi, I am currently a student at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp.

I am currently in the finishing stage of creating the concept for my collection, in which I wish to use upcycled plastic in order to create different bags. I am convinced that each future designer, especially in the fashion industry, which is an extreme pollutant, should be more aware of the damage they are causing to the environment.

I am a deep believer in recycling, and while I try to keep this awareness active through garments, I also wish to use this idea by creating upcycled accessories.

I am looking for –

A. Someone I could work and cooperate with during the next academic year in the creation of the accessories? (I have some projects ready, I will share with you upon request)

B. Is there a chance to receive a tiny sample of the melted plastic (even pieces that are destined to be thrown away) as I wish to convince my professors that this creation is interesting and beautiful enough, that it is worth investing time and effort into, and it can create something beautiful, fashionable and environmentally friendly.
