Nic experiments @stampro01! Love how you are trying out different ways of moldmaking. How did the epoxy-mold work, guess you can only use it a few times right?

Hello Dave!

This is the second mold out of epoxy..

The first one was only by epoxy without the aluminium cavity and after a few times broke..
Now i made the same out of epoxy in aluminium cavity and i will let you know if it works or not for many tries!

@sharma-sagar i tried many times my epoxy mold.. it was not bad!(for sure you can not compare with aluminium mold! )

If you like to copy something or to make not really expsensive mold my opinion is worth to try it!

i made a really really really stupid mistake about the main hole of the mold! except that, the textures was good as you can check at the picture bellow!

i will use the epoxy mold more times! and if i see that it works good maybe will prepare a tutorial!

Hello all!
I tried many many times the epoxy mold and the result was not good at the end.. For me the only solution is the aluminium molds..

I use the whirling mold also like door handle(check pics)the hpde plastic is strong you don’t need any nut on it..
Just a hole at the right diameter and its ready to use!

Hello!

to make the mold without the cnc i took 3 pieces of aluminium

At the first i went to engrave the graphics at a jewelry shop (took about 10€)

after that i took another one 3mm and i made holes via drill and than i used the rasp to make my design

after that i took the third i made them sandwitch i made a drills to make it like a mould!

@dbougas yes i will go to laser cnc machine to write something on it!

@andyn i am using pp injection machine just a little bit larger tube.. i made a hole to the bottom of the board mold  and i used  car jack under the nozzle
