Yet another modification to the extrusion machine.
v3 upgrade screw.
Using 2hp copper wound motor with belt and pulley/sprocket and chain speed reduction.
2 heat zones
Upgraded the heaters to 2.25kw and the barrel is 1.75 inch bar stock, turned down to 40mm OD and the inside is a much tighter tolerance than the sloppy plumbing pipe.
We are about a maximum of 6.4kg per hour extrusion with this screw. Next unit will use the Robot Digg 30mm OD screw.
