I’m wondering if, while melting down the plastic, are there toxic fumes we need to be worried about. Thanks in advance.

Hey @Cindy
‘Plastic’ is a very broad description. There are many types, and they all have different components. Perhaps you could be more specific?

@cyndi there are some amount of fumes depending upon which type of plastic you are using, better to read up about the category before starting working with it.

although there are fumes involved if you work in a well ventilated area with some protection you’ll be fine since the capacity of Dave’s machine is not too high the amount of fumes released is also not too high.
Having said that always work in well ventilated area with safety device like mask.
