I’m interested in recycling urethane to create various sized hard molded pieces. An initial google search leads to the American Chemistry site: https://polyurethane.americanchemistry.com/Polyurethane-Recycling/.

I’m seeing info related to mattress recycling, however my application would require molded pieces that would be around softball size, and could hold several hundred pounds.

It seems PP tools are mostly used to recycle HDPE. Can they be used for recycling PU?

What is the strength rating of HDPE vs PU?
