Hello guys!
The company that is working with me to get the shredder parts is called “BBC Steel” and they are located in Oregon.
New Prices as of Oct 2019: ( so far the lowest in USA)
– 1 set $425.00
– 2-5 sets 300.00ea
– 6-10 sets $285.00set
– Shafts are still currently at $38.00 but could raise.
– Bearings $17.50ea.
****Shipping is not included – You will have to pay for shipping****
Important: This modifications were necessary for most accessible parts also to keep the prices low.
Blades were modified to fit the 1″ shaft (this set will fit perfect if you buy their shaft and bearings)
Shaft is 1″ with ends machined to 3/4
Bearings are 3/4
Website: http://www.bbcsteel.com
Contact for BBC Steel: Randy [email protected]
You can email Randy Including your name and state you would like to order the shredder parts, keep in mind the prices may be going up due to the material going up in price. BBCSTEEL is one of the few companies that is wiling to work at small scale (one set at the time) Not all companies are willing to work this way since we can’t order in bulk (100s at the time)
Again, We can not afford to lose this company so email with discretion and be polite, this would be ideal for people who require receipts and invoices (If for business, School districts, Non Profit)
Any question don’t hesitate to message me.
Thanks,
Andre

@samsmith yes! Can we talk? I’m in Portland and three of us are about to order parts from BBC Steel, but I’d love to meet up if you’d be willing! It would be super helpful to see a working shredder.
@dreek00 sweet!! Thanks! I requested to join the FB group. Those parts look great. Three of us Oregonians are about to order parts from them.
That sounds like a good price to me even with postage to AUS – MEL. So just to confirm, is it the shredder box only or the everything but the motor. >> @peterbell57 and/or [email protected]
I am getting a quote from a local laser cutter so would be nice to have ammo to see how his price compares.
@dreek00 if would be a good idea to post your shredder in the Bazar, people would find you easier and the amount of orders would increase exponentially 😉
@xxxolivierxxx Yes, that is a good idea, I will talk to Randy to see if we can work on lowering the prices since demand is going up. Also, can you send me the link to the Bazar? I been looking for it but I cant find it lol
@xxxolivierxxx
NEVERMIND i FOUND IT LOL (I wish there is a big Bazar icon we can click, on the forum section too also same thing apply to the map is so hard to find you almost have to google it to get the link. Even though scrolling all the way down to click the bazar icon on preciousplastic website is not a big deal but I think there should be direct link icons here in the forums and on the PP website like on the menu)
@dreek00
I just sent your proposal to @Davehakkens, it seems like a pretty good idea considering that there is currently no way to find the bazar unless you know there is a bazar

Hi! I’m in Portland, OR and really appreciate this info. I’m looking to start a recycling setup in Southeast so thanks for posting about BBC steel corp and other manufacturers. If anyone is going to do a group buy of parts, here is my email: [email protected]
Hello [USA] Company Making Shredder parts.
I would be interested in purchasing one of your shredder machines on the first of March if one is available. Like so many of us starting out in this venture, It didn’t take long to see the importance of this miracle machine. We, my partner and I have been making bricks then planing them to get the fluff stuff necessary to process into objects. This works but it is very time consuming and not very cost effective. We both know and appreciate the time you’ve put fourth. Thank You very much.

@justinc check my post, I just updated the lowest prices ever in USA
@gabivillasenor Hi Gabi, if you buy 2 sets the price will drop a lot. I recommend to buddy up with someone to buy 2 sets
@richard88snow Hi Richard, You can order them from BBC Steel
I’m in early stages. Ready to begin a build soon and would love info on cheaper parts to build one or two machines please! I’ll be in Minneapolis to begin this project if anyone wants to combine forces 🙂
Would someone please email me info on affordable parts and/or inexpensive machines for sale even? Thank you!
@susanarts Hi! you can contract Randy from BBC Steel, [email protected] as you can see on the post the prices for one or more sets are really cheap im sure you can get you hands on 2.
Another option is contacting our builder @justinc he is building machines and selling them on the bazar.
I too am interested in going in on a 2+ order for the price break (I only need one). I am in Helena, MT – Let me know what you are thinking for timelines, etc.
Thanks!
I’m selling full sets of parts for DIY builds and complete units. Cost includes domestic shipping and a donation to Precious Plastic. With all of the parts and shipping added up you’ll find that the pricing is competitive with most other options and saves a lot of time researching and sourcing.
