Dustball is a robot vacuum cleaner, designed for public spaces. There are a lot of robot vacuum cleaners on the market but most of those are designed for households. However, they are fragile and not designed for high thresholds, cables etc. I wanted this one to be strong, industrial and flexible, without giving it a tasteless design like some other industrial products.

Inspired by a hamster ball, I came up with Dustball. Usually there is no interaction with a robot vacuum cleaner. I created a little friend, who is just rolling around and who you can push or kick in any direction for it to clean. It is strong and sturdy and has no trouble with cables or anything like that. When it happens to roll in front of your feet, just kick it out of the way and it will find itself a new path.
