Hi all,
The parts that we got lasercut for the shredder are not exactly 5 and 6mm (In fact they're off quite a bit; see photo's).
This means that the combined blade assembly is way less than the box.
(In CAD the spacing is 0.5mm on each side, in our case it would become 2.4mm on each side !!) I'm afraid this is a bit too much, right?
What is you experience? Will plastic get "stuck" between the walls and the blades or clog up near the bearings?
What's best to do you think?
1. Just proceed, keep the extra space and fill out the slack on the axile with extra washers?
2. Make the box narrower so that the spacing is 0.5 on each side again? (i.e. take off 1.9mm on each side (means probably getting rid of the laser cut teeth).
3. Something else, namely ....
