Hi,
I restring tennis rackets for a living. The most popular string type is described as a "co polyester" or "high polymer polyester" on the packaging.
I wondered if it would be possible to collect the used string and extrude it into new?
What do you think?
Having talked about it with a few people my biggest concerns are that it will give off toxic fumes when heated and that the material will lose its "elasticity" when reworked.
Any thoughts welcome.
Thanks,
Geoff
