I printed the shape of the form with this program"http://posterazor.sourceforge.net/" and glued it temporarily to 8mm multiplex. The walls were made of Aluminium sheets from baking stacks. The plastic was melted down in a small oven in a stainless steel catering tray. Sounds simple, but it takes so much time for preparing the plastic. For cleaning the stuff I put it to a washing machine for 25 minutes without any chemicals. You have to clean it, cut it to small pieces and "bake" it layer by layer. The melting process alone took about 7 hours. After that, the fluffy 6.7 kilograms of fu*** hot and sticky HD-PE was pressed by hand into the mould. Clamping down and let it cool down for about 12 hours... I left it so much time clamped to provide the extreme shrinking and deforming while HD-PE is cooling. In the 4 parts on my Youtube Channel you can see the process from the time of melting to the firts time played by a friend of mine!!
