You can get food everywhere these days, bookshop, station, airport, car. Even if you are not hungry at all they try to trick you into eating food with their lovely smell of fresh baked bread. I was wondering what’s it like to be hungry, to not always eat whenever I feel like it. Tried one month without chewing. Watch the video, share your thoughts below
Something really not mentioned in the video; nutritional intake, was that sufficient? Other benefits/down sides; weight loss? Do you have some juice recipes for us?
I lost quite some (to much actually) weight, for some people this is a reason to start, not for me. I wouldn’t recommend doing this long, I definitely believe you miss some important nutritions in the long run. There are actually different theories whether this is healthy thing to do or not. I’v looked into them and came to the conclusion that i simply can’t tell. I do know that you feel horrible/unhealthy at some points and very happy/disciplined afterwards. I’ll look into recipes!
well you gain the weight back on pretty quickly. However it could definitely change your eating habits and kickstart an alternative way of eating. Even trying for a couple of days is worth it!
i’m starting a 2 weeks juice in January. –good way to clean yourself up after the holidays. Would love it if others joined, keep each other motivated! Are you in @tomashalberstad ?
Hmmm… Well I’ve said I would like to try it out. Though, not for ‘cleaning yourself out’/detox reasons since there is no since what so ever to support that, on the contrary, since seem to support that you the long term effects of such a thing is none.
And, as you mention in your video, there’s always that one big hurdle. Starting a new job in food and beverage would be one I guess.
Let me think about it!
Any others joining?
Due to the nature of my work I will have to work on a rechargable juicer that I can have with me all the time! I guess a week tryout will convince me!
