ADVICES ABOUT COMPRESSION MOLD

Hello! Hope everybody is doing well.
I want to compress the planter which is in the attached drawings. Before quarantine, I got a big pizza oven and the idea is the build an external press machine, put the plastic flakes in the mold, melt them and then press it on the compression machine.
I need some advice about mold building:
– Which should be the thickness of the metal sheets to use?
– Should the mold need to be structured?
– Do the parts need to be CNC cut?
– and any further detail that could help me to make a good mold.
Thanks in advance!
I’m developing a piramid Shape Flower pot mold using 4mm thickness steel mold. I’m only a beginner and would like your guide and feedback if it requires some modifications. I have attached the pictures to view the mold. Do you think my MOLD is feasible?
Thanks,
– Which should be the thickness of the metal sheets to use? 3 mm or 4 mm
– Should the mold need to be structured? what do yo mind?
– Do the parts need to be CNC cut? yes is better but most expensive
– and any further detail that could help me to make a good mold.
what are the units in te drawing?
You have to decide the thinknes of the product and how much plastic are you going to use
Its too importan the release angle for the compression depends of the mould 10 to 20 °
the distance of the mould with the flake(before heating) the botton and the top enter to the oven
If you can make a lining of teflon to the mould you are going to save a lot of headaches
