An alternative to a hex bar

03/11/2019 at 16:00

If you are in a country where it is super expensive and difficult to get a hex bar(I don’t know why it is)then there are two things you can do.

1. Use a square rod (the easy method)
Do the same things as you do with the square bar and adjust the blades so that the centre which first had a hexagonal shape and now make it a square shape and it should work!

2. Use a circular(normal)rod (the hard method)
There is no need to grind the bar in this situation just make the centre of the blade circular and so that the blades don’t slip add keys.

Please in the reply section tell me more methods.
I hope this was useful, bye 🙂

I suggested this in a different thread, but I thought about using two circular rods instead of the hex as another alternative.
