Ask Me Anything
This topic is for you community. The place to ask me anything.
Favorite project, best holiday, what motivates me, what time I wake up, if i know square-dancing, everything goes here.
Have a look through the older questions ones because I won’t answer the same twice.
Shoot your questions 🙂
I am Jigme (Jimmy) from Bhutan and I have joined recently in the army (PP) . I wanted to ask you what are the process and how much money I need to come to Netherlands. I want to undergo the basic training for machine making and assembling the machines part by part.
I don’t have any technical skills because I was doing my majors in B. A political science and sociology. I really want to start PP projects in Bhutan.
Hello Dave Hakkens, I am Gokma Sahat Tua Sinaga. I am from Tomsk State University in Russia. We – Internasional Science Program want to build your project in our University. We would be so pleased if we could get in touch with you through internet. We were wandering whether you still available to be invited and having a seminar in our University, in Siberia Russia. Let’s me know where we can contact you. [email protected]
Hello, I want to build my own machines. Where can I get the guide or blueprints to start?
We would like to publish the activities of our organization on your platform. What is the procedure to follow? thank you
Please do try to keep ‘plastic recycling’ in mind in any published activity, as that is what this community is about!
You already put yourself on the map so local people can already find you.
Maybe add your website to your profile?
And participate in the the community.
Give the community your view on questions and problems we face.
The community is global, but so is the problem we are trying to deal with.
I am new here and already finding the site a mine of information:-)
Sometime in the past our company started collecting bottle caps and unfortunately did not separate them into different types so we now have 4 bulk bags ( approx 3 tonnes) of mixed PP and HDPE tops.
Any suggestions/ideas of what we could do with them?
Hi Donald – Thanks for the pointer.
What is better?
Following a principle and being known mostly for that or not imposing ideas but being more integrated into the standard?
Hi, I’m from Quito, Ecuador. I want to know if there is someone who can help me with a company that sells electric heating bands. thank you
Hi, what I always do myself, call the company for the information, if you can find it.
hello Dave, Thanks to you to provide me this platform I want know about the Plastic pyrolysis , could you help me?
I am currently trying to build plastic extrusion machine to make quality 3d printing filament. Specifically, I am trying to take plastic water bottles (PET) and 3d print objects from them. If anyone has accomplished this or is interested in doing the same thing please message me and we can collaborate! The more sharing of information the better for all of us!
Hello Dave! I’m a new member of the community and have some questions: do get started, do I have to purchase the machines or build them myself? I just want to get all the process to start as soon as possible 🙂
i’m sometimes imagineering at the crossroads of non destructive plastic upcycling and o.a improved sanitation (the knock on potential can be huge)… question;-
-have you considered collecting/upcycling urine @ the PP project?
(no pun intended 😉
Hello Dave I would like to launch the project in GABON, just waiting for you.
Why you don’t just grab the rest of the money, buy a nice house, pick up some some awesome training, have a nice and healthy life with a nice wife and some kids whilst the PP community works out the missing parts of the project ? It doesn’t need that much; a good WordPress setup and a few custom addons; some bounties on new & better machines via vouching, PP crowd funding, etc… In latest 10 years you gonna be super happy not to end up in another broke eco – village experiment. You deserve it !
i would like to ask how to make pins in the map so i could see myself like others do. i’m new here.
