AutoCAD files

27/03/2017 at 07:06

Hi i’m currently in India trying to get quotations from metal cutters in Mysore and Bangalore. They are asking for the auto-CAD files, and one is asking for an older CAD file, since his CAD-program is not up to date, and the update will cost him… He does not want to upgrade -.-

Dave Hakkens can you or anyone provide me with auto-CAD files, or an older version than the CAD you have given? thanks in advance

@reneeke

Hi there,

did you manage to get older versions of the laser files?
I was asked to provide CAD-files in 2000 version.

Thanks for quick feedback.
If you dont have them yet, I will get them and share them with you.

Cheers,
Daniel

I installed a program called Autodesk DWG Trueview 2018 to convert files. Although im not sure it worked yet, since none of the steel cutters have come back to me yet with quotations.

In case you need the files, this is what I got from my brother. Cannot test it, any feedback is appreciated. I just sent it to our potential steel supplier in Thailand. Keep fingers crossed for me 🙂

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COPY THE FILES TO A PERMANENT ONLINE STORAGE AS THIS DROPBOX LINK MIGHT NOT WORK FOREVER.
