how about a tablet made with the same kind of blocks as phoneblocks, options for tablets are:screen sizes:7″8″10″12″.battery:more battery life.cpu:a faster cpu and more ram than the phoneblocks could hold..GPU:higher graphics and better resolution for faster playing games/video..internal storage:HDD with a 2.5″ 7.5mm hdd (hotswap dock) you can get up to 1TB of storage (hdd could best be placed in the center)http://cdn1.mos.techradar.futurecdn.net//art/mobile_phones/Asus/ASUS%20PADFONE%202/full%20review/Press%20Pics/PR_Asus_PadFone_2_31-580-90.jpgthe image is for how the hdd could be placed/ looks (the mobile is the hdd for comapring)or a internal storage of 128-512GB (of course more expensive than the HDD solution).speakers:of couse instead of 1,5cm speakers you can get 5-7cm speakers for even better audiofor audio tools: WAVES MAXX AUDIO,.other options:dual-octa micro SD slot (if 1 slot isnt enough) 512gb sdxc port each (if possible)4G solutions5ghz frequention for faster wifiusb 3.1 portsa sepcial port and connector to get wired lan connection to your tablet cat6-7 standard for optimal speed

A tablet version would be great, but I think they’ll put their focus on smartphones first before they move on to something bigger.

Everything should be like the phonebloks idea but phones are the best way to make the design work before going onto anything bigger

it works the same, only the middle layer (grid for the blocks) is larger of size, and you can use more blocks

well the difference in size means a difference in layout and a difference in technology, the tech in a tablet is halfway between a phone and a pc, so it would need minor tweeks, the tablet would obviously be the next product
