Crocheting products from discarded plastic bags.

I run an upcycled and sustainable initiative where I crochet and sew products with yarn made from discarded plastic bags.
I collect the plastic bags from garbage bins, streets, vegetable markets and friends. The bags are then washed and dried, cut by hand into plastic yarn (plarn) and finally crocheted and hand sewn into unique pieces.
All in all, it’s a lot of fun!
Hey @thela, thanks for sharing! It’s just so nice to see that it’s possible to create such beautiful things with very easy and basic tools, really doable for EVERYONE.
Really looking forward to your tutorial video! 🙂
I can imagine it takes quite some time to make those products?
Thanks Katharina, I will post the videos soon.
Yes, it is a very long process but so much fun 🙂
