Dimensions for images in .dwg files

Hi,
I sent out the 3mm, 5mm and 6mm .dwg files to get quotes today and there is some confusion about the files. Some of the businesses have come back saying that the images are very small
eg:
“The DWGs I opened, if to scale, are incredibly small. The cutting blades for the 5mm are, apparently only approx 10mm in size. Is this right?”
I have AutoCAD on my computer (I am not very proficient with it though) and when I use the Liniear tool on the image on the far right of the Shredding_laser_5MM.dwg it identifies it as being 13.1995 high on the straight edge. Is that 13.1995 cm high (refer attached)?
Can anyone suggest why they are seeing the images as very small?
Thanks
Simon
Ok, I think I have more of an idea of what is happening here….
When I open the .dwg files, the Units value is Millimeters. As a result, all of the images would be extremely small, too small for printing.
Can someone tell me what the Units value for these files should be please.
Thanks
Simon
As reference for the dimensions you could use the parts list in Shredder laser Overview.pdf
Found in /build/shredder/blueprints.
In the above post, dimensions are in cm instead of mm.
How come? no idea…. 🙁
A common problem could be. cm instead of mm. that is 1:10.
Or inches instead of mm’s that would 25.4 mm in a inch.
The Download package will be update with the dxf files and separate pdf files per laserpart.

Hi,
I’m having a hard time understanding why there are no dimensions on the cutouts or eyeholes on the shredder parts. I have looked at every CAD file, but unfortunately I’m not seeing it.
Where would I see these dimensions?
Thanks!
