Engine for the shredder

Hi everyone, i have a question towards the attributs of the engine for the shredder i want to build. Can i take a engine with 50 rpm and 106 Nm? I am unsure if then the shredding part can shred the plastics… I am thankful for every answer. Noah
I would wish I had an answer for you today, but I don’t. HOWEVER!!
My parts for Dave’s shredder is arriving and after Easter I will assemble it. Then I will do some formal tests measuring the torque needed to shred different kinds of elements. I shall get back to you with the results.
That doesn’t help you much right now, but is more a kind of a note that you shouldn’t give up just yet.
