Hello, I am starting with the extrusion of beams and having the first problems! When I start to extrude the plastic comes out of the mold, and it is like it gets stuck in the first part of the mold, I can not extrude the beams of 3 meters, my machines are industrial but homemade, someone could help me, I leave images to see, !

Intenta calentar la barra de metal para por que si se enfría el plastico demasiado rapido después no puede avanzar, saludos.
y si caliento mas el plastico? en el video que muestra dave no calienta la barra de metal…
hehe. I’d say make sure the the beam mold is very strong/tight connected to the extrusion machine. Looks like its just leaking. The plastic comes out with quite some pressure so you need to make sure the material flows in the mold and not out.
can be the temperature of plastic the problem? i’m about 220º C. the mold it has to be cold or hot?
dave!!! the problem is when i work on 3 meters long mold.. the plastic stop at 1.20 meters and then leaking out of mold…
