Help finding out the type of plastic

Hello!
I’m in the process of sourcing the materials for a shredder and meanwhile, I’m already collecting and sorting plastic.
I have come over 2 parts, where I cannot find out what plastic sort they are.
on the first pic you can see both, Let’s name the darker blue one “A” and the smaller, more transparent one “B”. 😀
Both sink in water
Both are transparent and colored
A was a Lid of a ceramic IKEA toothbrushcup.
B was a window in a Papertoweldispenser.
A is very brittle, as soon as you cut it.
B is very hard to cut even with my wire cutter, because it won’t break for a long time. B turns white when pressure is applied and loses it’s transparency.
Any ideas? I don’t really want to waste vegetable oil, alcohol etc. for more floating tests for such a little amount of material…
Hard to tell from a distance, have you seen the information in our download-pack? There are some tips and tricks to help out with it besides floating techniques.
@davehakkens thanks for the reply! Yeah, I have looked at these, however I’m 99% sure these are in the 7/other category. I’m just thinking one of them may be 9/ABS but I think these pieces will go into the bin. :/
