regarding about the laser cutting company they need me to export your file from Autodesk Fusion to .dwg format. can any one help.
If someone ends up converting the files, please add me to the list! I think everyone is struggling to find the right conversions. It would change the way we can go about it if we get the right files
I’m glad to know that I’m not the only person with files issues. Am I wrong in saying the a .dxf or .dwg file is just a about universal?
tamaramontero well done 🙂
What program will you be using to so we can all make sure we have the same as you if that is ok.
What file will you start with and will you be able to post it here once you are done.
Thank you very much.
It looks like the files have been saved in cm and the default for most people is mm. Scale up 10x or 1000% and you should be good to go.
I’ve attached the scaled file. Let me know id this solves your problem
Cheers,
Marc
IT won’t let me upload the .dwg files. Leave your email address and I’ll send them to you
Please, for a copy!!
Thank you so much
You’ve solve a lot of problems for peopel
@iovanydeleon, @andrenj, @eduardomaia, @santybarrios. @efrainac. @paulenglish
I’ve emailed you the files.
I didn’t realise that so many people would need them. In order to make it easier for everyone I’ve uploaded the files to Dropbox.
You can get them from this link – https://goo.gl/V23I2d

Can anyone help me get a copy in DXF. format
and for anyone in Melbourne in need of parts or welding laser cutting I WOULD love to help
Hey Dave, im having the same problem, even when I scale x10, I compare the size of one of the pieces, in this case the “KnifeSpacer” it says 50x50x6, after I scale it x10 it was 49.95×94.95×6, I re scale it by hand after to the size of the blueprint.
But I just wanted to be sure if the size are correct.
Hi,
Can someone send me the updated files please.
Have the DXF files also been converted?
Thanks
Simon
Hi,
I have AutoCAD on my PC. Is it sufficient to just change the Units from mm to cm, or is there some additional changes that are required?
Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks
Simon
PLZ send me the files too, I really wish to get started ASAP.
Great thanks to everyone involved.
