So, my shredder is completed, I have a frame, and I have shredded plastic on it. The original mesh I made for the bottom was just a sheet of aluminium that I punched holes out of, but the blades sometimes caught it and pulled it up. It eventually ended up being shredded by accident. I’ve also tried some stainless steel mesh, but it would always catch on the blades. Any suggestions on materials to use?
