Pavement, tiles and bricks

Hi everybody! I am very new here and i don’t really have any clue where to start!
I am in Upper Egypt, Luxor. I wish to create tiles and pavements, and why not bricks for housing from recycling plastic.
Like it is mainly a touristic area, the most plastic avaible is PET from water bottle and of course, plastics bags.
Does anybody know if it can be good enough to make tiles and pavements with? The strenght, heat resistence and so on?
Does anybody knows about the ratio for the mixing part, i guess with sand for the pavements?
As you can see, i do hve hundreds of questions… these were just the starting ones!
Still need to find a place where to do all that, how to build the machines, shredder and injection (i think) and molds and..all!
I wish to share with those who have experience, ideas, tips.
Thanks to everyone!
Hi,
Well there are many plastics that when made into a thick section will be plenty strong enough for bricks. But I wouldn’t recommend using plastic for anything that will get walked or driven over or worm in anyway, as it will create micro plastic that will definitely find its way to the sea, and that’s already a huge problem. But tiles or exterior walls or bricks for basic structures would be cool. Check the videos on extruding beams, I think that might be quite helpful for you. If you make beams you can cut them into bricks quite easily.
cheers

Hi!
Thank you for your answer! And sorry for the delay of mine… Chrsitmas holidays!
The video is very interesting, i thought that to make tiles and pavements, it should be by compression in mold…
I was speaking about heat because here the summers are very hot… and i saw some start-up in Mexico building houses with recycled plastic, and saying that the isolation properties are good.
I will try to start with tiles and see waht is going on with that.
Cheers
Vero
Hi, do you think it would be possible to make these beams with PET (from plastic bottles) and plastic bags? Wondering if it would be strong enough….
