penny board / cruiser !!
hey from Pilsen again 🙂
this is my special project and dream
penny board / cruser / skateboard / longboard mini .. whatever you call it, we call it: PedoDepoPet board 😀
its too tin so not working yet, but i will try to make it twice more bigger and lets see
and the board no.2 !! its working well, im using to go to work atm 😀
1 kg of caps from bottles !!!
Cool, can you show me the mold and process how you make this?
@slavekkral I love this idea 😀
If I were you, I would put a hard metal grid mesh inside the mould before injecting/pouring the hot plastic, that would make the skateboard more rigid and would avoid it from breaking in half if you put too much weight right in the middle of the board, although I’m just talking out loud since I don’t really know how much weight can HDPE withstand 😀
Can you share details on timing and plastic type used? Also the final thickness would be useful data for the community.
Judging by the pictures, I would say that board is 1″ thick
ok guys hope not anoying with the skates already but here is some good ones 😛
more and more :))
as you can see im not using the presser, just leave it fall by itself, even no shreding .. we are doing good punk here 😀 but they work well, its about 1 hour work, I already made 9 of them, usualy from caps, but sometimes from toothbrushes (Ps.: Dave curaprox toothbrushes are special type of PP – bit more stronger-ones)
oh yeah and sometimes I get some fire inside .. well thats making just PP when its touch the heating system which we have down in the owen, but not big deal, just bit smelly 😀
Nice boards @slavekkral! Not annoying to see at all, love to see how you do it! Do watch out with fire though, we need you and your lungs alive! It could also be nice to add one side in a ‘thickening machine‘ (they use this in woodworking to take a layer of the wood.) If you put your skateboard in there you get one supersmooth surface. Might be fun to try out if you have a machine like that around, takes 5 minutes.
WOW! que buena producción, has calculado mas o menos que resistencia tienen?
