Plastic awareness sculpture London walk fundraisin

Hey everyone

The charity Wasteaid, who train developing communities in simple recycling techniques, creating jobs and keeping plastic out of the oceans is organising a 25km walk across london in June, to raise funds and awareness for the waste problem around the world

more info here: https://wasteaid.org.uk/walk-wasteaid-2018-bridging-global-recycling-gap/

besides sharing it with you and asking you if you wanted to participate or donate anything, I wanted to ask you people for ideas. It says that it’s encouraged for people to dress up or make music with instruments made out of recycled waste, etc. In a past walking fundraising, someone climbed a mountain with a wheelie bin full of rubbish on his back!

So I had the idea of maybe doing some sort of big sculpture out of plastic that could be transported by a few people, combine the idea of the plastic dead whale (https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=plastic+dead+whale) and a chinese dragon dance ( https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=dragon+dance+chinese+new+year )

But would like to hear what you could come up with! What would you do? something that grabs the attention of people walking by and that can be transported !

Thanks !

Talking with the organizers we’ve come up with this potential idea: make these ‘medals’/keyrings for people who take part in the walk, make them from recycled plastic injection moulded.
What do you think? any other ideas? anyone who wants to help? (design mould, cnc it or with an injection moulder in the uk?)
