We recycle PET bottles in Nepal. The biggest hassle for us is to manage green bottles and plastic labels on it. Can anyone of you, if you are experienced in this field suggest on how to manage green bottles and plastic labels on the bottles? We want to manage everything on the bottles i.e. Caps, Bottle body, and labels but labels are the tough one to deal with till date. If I can get any recommendation then it would be great.
Hi, I want to know how can i recycle plastic can of motor oil? somme peoples tell me that we can’t recycle it? If i can, how can wash it?
Thanks
what type of motor oil can you are taking about, is it possible to see picture? Normally any plastic can can be cleaned as hot wash after cutting them into flakes.
If you have industrial recycling available, it may be better to let them deal with it . Trying it at the small scale, you may end up with a bunch of oil contaminated water that is difficult to deal with.
@davidsharma777 I don’t have experience with the labels, but I found this that might be helpful. http://www.plasticsrecycling.org/resources/reports/sleeve-label-study
Thanks for the pic. I will try to get some info from Indian partners… they have got some hand on such practices. I’m not sure if their work is a good practice to be benchmarked by others though… lets see. Also thanks for sharing the link.
