Problem with receiving payment on the bazaar
Hello! This question in particular is directed to the ones who could provide the information for correct setting the bank details for receiving payment on the Bazaar.
Our organization /production unit/ Minipogon is based in Serbia, so as it was not possible to relate the Serbian bank account with Paypal nor Stripe we did it with a Spanish bank account dates of one of our members. We thought that everything was set well, when we recently authorized the first purchase/payment for our product offered on the Bazaar – https://bazar.preciousplastic.com/en/emokratia. But the transaction didn’t worked out. Something went wrong with setting the Pay Pal and/or Stripe account or connecting them to the Precious Plastic Bazaar. Could someone who is dealing with admin part please take a look on that ? Thanks a lot ?
And or: How does people/businesses outside of EU/USA, etc – 1st world economic zones can organize their sale? Any good tips on that?

Hi @emokratia, I took a look at the transaction history on the backend of the Bazar and it looks like you recently completed a transaction. I’m assuming this means you were able to work out the problem with your payment processing? Can you confirm that you found a solution?
hi @jaklatt thanks for taking care of that. the customer completed transaction when he received the object but the money didnt passed on our account. It was then when I wrote on the forum asking what shell we do. we waited for a little while and as nothing was happening the customer made a payment out of PP Bazaar. But we hope our account is set well now on the Bazaar and that for the next time it will work well..
@jaklatt same here, order was marked completed since over a week but we never received the money (bank transfer) : now-project -> lux.plastic. could you please check, we have a couple of other orders and its a little disastrous . thanks
hey @cgoflyn what payment processor are you using for this transaction ? Paypal or stripe ?
@jaklatt, i don’t know exactly, it was via bank transfer since our paypal account isn’t setup correctly. thanks for looking into it!
OK you are using stripe then. I’m in touch with sharetribe and working on the issue! It might take a little bit to sort out but I will keep you guys updated.

@jaklatt : we did. and no, nothing arrived. the whole thing becomes now pretty scary to us, we have 4 more pending purchases, 4 more to come (but they’re stuck with bazar error messages)
So after we finally had to contact sharetribe ourself because those precious volunteers in Eindhoven are possibly too busy with those endless bazaar updates (where?) or too important or simply underpaid (tss… these volunteers, lol) , we’ve got an answer in 2 hours :
Thank you for reaching out. Usually Stripe takes between 7-12 business days to make a transfer, so 10 days is not completely unusual. Unfortunately, I cannot provide more detailed information. Your marketplace administrator; however, can view the transactions in Stripe and let you know in greater detail what is going on. I recommend asking them if nothing arrives in your account by Friday.
So, seems that the problems have appeared again. We recently noted that our (Minipogon) payments to PayPal, which regularly functioned since January till July this year, have been interrupted since the beginning of July, even if the sales were completed. We never completed setting up the Stripe account as we are based out of European Union. The bank account which we filled in in the beginning in the Bazar form is my old Spanish account which went obsolete in the meanwhile, and the form didnt (and still does not) allow me to change information of the bank account (is it some programming error?). If our payment option on Bazaar have been switched form PayPal to Stripe or bank settings this option have been changed without our consent. We also accessed our Stripe account which we never used and the money from sales since July (164,50EUR) is also not there. When we asked Bazaar stuff how this could be resolved, they said following: “Please contact Stripe support regarding this: https://support.stripe.com/?contact=true I recommend you use the chat support.” And we do not even have Stripe Account operative! This is really not ok, and we would like to get better clarification on this issue.
