Quick Question on Building Injection Molder

18/09/2016 at 20:09

Hey,

I wasn’t able to see it posted anywhere. I’m looking for the make of PID and heater bands that were used on these machines. I’ve looked on ebay and amazon and haven’t come across them. I’m sure other ones would work but I’m just trying to avoid buying cheap ones that are no good like was mentioned in one of the videos with the PID controllers.

Thanks,

Mark Saunderson

I got an Inkbird pid controller bundle, that comes with the PID controller, a relay and the thermocouple as well. So far, it has been working perfectly.

Here’s a link for Amazon Canada: https://www.amazon.ca/Inkbird-Universal-Temperature-Controller-ITC-100/dp/B00T2IODEK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1474235872&sr=8-2&keywords=pid+controller

@leesaund your welcome
Band heaters are pretty generic, just make sure to choose the right one depending on your home voltage, you can find 110v and 220v heaters.
Here are a few links:

110v

220v
https://www.amazon.ca/uxcell%C2%AE-35mmx35mm-Heating-Element-Injection/dp/B01F4BHIMW/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1474300545&sr=8-4&keywords=band+heater

Hi,
Were you able to use the schematics from the download package or did you have to change the wiring?
