Recognising plastics

I have a lot of items with no label.

Where can I find pictures and descriptions to recognise these plastics?

I think you’re talking in the wrong forum ^^’
You’re in the Phone block forum instead of Precious plastic, so you should edit the topic and move it to the proper forum 😉

They are few ways to recognize type of plastic without label, Dave made a video about it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsqLJNyrVss

You also have some tutorials but I let you find them on the internet 😉

Else a student is currently making a little machine to know which type of plastic you have  :https://www.matoha.com/

Thanks @adrienluitot !
I’ll move the topic.

@janvankelst please try to put your topic in the correct tab next time, because it takes up a lot of time to move all the misplaced topics around to keep the forums somehow organised! Thank you!
All the best

Sadly there is a lot of topic like that, I think it could be cool to have more moderator ^^ I think 3 is a bit low.

Hi, sorry for posting this in the wrong forum.
But where do I need to post it?
I cannot find anything on recognising plastics.
Can you send me the link?
Kind and best regards

Hi @janvankelst
Flo moved it to the good forum don’t worry about it.
You should post it in the “Precious Plastic” one then in “Questions?” or in “Research about plastic”.

I sent you 2 links to recognise plastic above.

Then if you want to find something on the forum you can search there : http://onearmy.world/community/forums/search/
It doesn’t work at perfection but it work.

You can also download the download-kit and go into “2. Plastics” folder and you have 3 pdf files that could help you recognising plastic.
