I think a good screen size would be 4.7″-5.0″. Nothing bigger or else it would be a phablet.
Agreed, though I think you should be able to get different base sizes to be more adaptive, which is one of this projects major ideas

I think everyone should be able to choose their own screensize because I find it important that you can customize your phone exactly as you want.
Yeah every one shout be able to get a different screen size but how? as the size of the main base remains fixed how can we put different screen size
Maybe they can manufacture different size of main bases, As well as different size of blocks
I would imagine that they would have different sized bases, and that would dictate the max screen-size as well as the bloks you could fit on it
5.0 is classed as a phablet is it not? Personally I would go for a 5.5 inch screen.
Hi Xander1988 i am agree with you 5.5 inch screen is a good deal now-a-days. i also go for it.. thanks for the ideaLos Angeles Solar Group
I think it should have a 3.5 inch screen 4.5 max!
I would go for ~4,3 and ~4,7 and ~5,0 and ~5,5 – or whatever size gets the cheapest parts. I do not know what is common for the screenmakers, but I guess you have to abide by what they are producing right now. If they have to open a new factory for your screen especially it would only drive prices up. So 3 or 4 common sizesIf the project runs great, then add more. The bigger the size, the more blocks you can put on there I suppose.edit: you can also make 1 small base size for a 3,5″ screen and then get block enhancers to make them fit the size of the larger screen
I agree! but maybe only 2 common sizes? keep it simple 🙂
Probs 2 common sizes I can’t see it having 3+ its not practical. Or maybe to a small market.
For me is 5 inch perfect. 5 inch is not to big and i don’t want a smaller phone.
I think different screen size adaptability is blocked due to the material which is in between screen block and ear speaker. So to over come such problem I think only the part between screen block and ear speaker must be removable, due to these people can change screen size as per there need. Another thing is that the material must be attached anywhere on the front base as it will help to make a partition between qwerty keyboard and small screen if anyone wants.
I think that 5.0 inches screen will be perfect for the phone if it is getting only touchscreen on the front panel and we can think about 4.5 inches screen if we want any button or fingerprint scanner below the screen area an 3.5 inches screen will be perfect for qwerty keypad below the screen!!!!
