Hello everyone!
I’m Alex, a student at the University for Applied Sciences Kempten. I represent the student council, our sustainability project group and the sustainabilty department of our city. We just made it happen that our University and City will support a precious plastic project: We are going to build a recycling station.
To begin with, we are searching for somebody who is/was already involved in a bigger precious plastic project and would be willing to come to Kempten, present the initiative, their project, their achievments and maybe the problems they had to face to the involved students, professors and city council members. You should speak good english or german.
All expenses will be covered, theres also the possibility of a small wage.
Please let me know if you are interested or you if you know where else we could look for someone!

Good afternoon,
I just completed my masters degree of Textile design from National Institute of Design, Ahmadabad.
I have done my undergraduate study of Engineering in Fibres and textiles processing technology (B.tech)from Institute of Chemical Technology , Mumbai.
I am quite driven with the idea to tickle and trigger the sensory of touch by experimenting with the interaction between various materials and different weave structures.
Sustainability and innovation is something which I have always felt passionately about and I have worked on these principals in all my projects.Being a textile engineer and a designer I understand the need of bridging the gap between processing and execution without compromising environment.
My final thesis is about Exploration on banana plant being a source for textile/composite production along with market research and coming up with mood boards and trend reports. The project is sponsored by Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts(Switzerland).
