Hello everyone,

I collect my plastics for recycling in nature, which makes sorting them a bit more complex compared to let’s say household trash. In the first attempt, I found mostly fragments without resin codes and the information on the internet about the characteristics are—as far as I can tell by now—not very easy to apply during your sorting process. I collected all the data I found online and by testing materials and made something like a decision diagram or “resin determination maze”. I’m grateful for any thought/comment/contribution on that so we can develop it further (especially on how to determine PVC)! By now it doesn’t require a flame test and for the sake of our health, I’d suggest sticking to this as far as possible.
