PET(or PETE) is Polyethylene Terephthalate. PVC is Polyvinyl Chloride.

PET is most commonly found in water bottles because of it’s clarity. It’s also in other bottles and lids because it also is fairly shiny.

PVC is most commonly used in plumbing. It’s very popular for construction and making gift cards.

PVC and PET have very different melting temperatures. With a heat gun you can warm up PVC enough to bend it but probably not melt to down to fit in a mold. However PET will probably burn under a heat gun if you’re not careful.

TL;DR: PVC and PET are very different and should NOT be in the same batch
