Altavoces al frente que te permitan tener una mejor experiencia de audio, ya que en ocasiones al estar en la parte trasera no te permiten disfrutar totalmente del sonido

As for speakers in a cellphone, stereo is not really essential… Hear me out. Most iPhone users only need one, good quality and LOUD speaker for phone use, ringtones and alerts. If you’re going to listen to music, you’ll do so via earbuds, headphones or via Bluetooth to a good external sound system – which renders an expensive, large , power-hungry stereo Speaker system somewhat redundant.

Good point, Autolycus! We hope you’re using some of our earbuds/headphones to listen to your music! 🙂

then again, some of us like to use our phone speakers, and prefer quality, is it possible for sennheiser to make a coaxial woofer small enough to fit in the phone but high enough quality to produce quality sound? besides it is a build your own phone to suit you deal, the key is to make quality for enthusiasts and sell to enthusiasts, instead of making it the normal speaker, make it an add on speaker that customers can buy from the phonebloks site or even directly from sennheiser/their retailers. oh and another thing is, if you want your earphones to be used more, when the phonebloks come out, maybe give out free heaphones or earphones to the first 100 or so customers and then after that have them as optional extras when buying

Hi again brendan_kershaw,We’re definitely looking into how we can integrate our knowledge on speakers into such a blok. For instance, we’ve recently announced the development of bloks with microphones that are less sensitive to wind noise making them ideal for outdoor smartphone use, electronic news gathering (ENG) and recordings in the field. Check out the link below:https://community.phonebloks.com/forum/view_topic/22/1988/Sound-development/Sennheiser-to-develop-wind-resistant-high-performance-microphonesAlso, thanks for the promotional tip! 🙂

any time, always happy to help you guys, and another thing with that mic, it should have an adjustable sensitivity, for when someone is indoors or if they want simple sound effects for school projects (such as in the music and movie industry classes in schools with limited supplies) or if someone just wants to pick up that extra bit more in a quiet surrounding, maybe have it self adjusting, and programmable via apps, such as if they are outside on a normal basis have it insensitive to wind and background noises, but if they have an app that requires extra sensitivity then it can adjust to pick up what it needs to

The speakers should have as low ohms as possible to increase quality. Is their any way Sennheiser could incorporate an electrostatic transducer into the phone? Or would the requirement of a high quality amp be too much?

too hard to drive with quality for a phone, but if it where a dock for a phone sennheiser could manage it with ease

I thought so, it takes some power to drive electrostatic drivers

phone technology is designed in such a way that it is the most power efficient technology in the world, even as such a phones battery isnt the longest life battery in the world, so adding a high power amp for a small driver is merely pointless, but there is a type of electrostatic driver that uses the energy of the vibration enduced friction to keep its own amplifier going, unfortunately this is too big to fit into a phone as it currently stands

Well, worth the thought though

Maybe then it would be better to have the best quality dynamic transducers that Sennheiser can fit into the phone.

no worries, and i hope it is possible because i would love to see the product of a harman/kardon and sennheiser collaberation, and im sure so would many other audio enthusiasts, and if they are unwilling to put work into this then you could make it a seperate project with them for an ipod dock or something with a sennheiser docking port for the phoneblok, and that way they see it as a no risk or low risk investment, and given the legendary status of both companies the dock should be a hit (given that it remains a lower price than the Harman/Kardon GLA55 speakers, and excelent value for money) also alot of people know one brand but not the other (odly enough) so it could lead to both of you gaining more buisness. please sennheiser, will you please try get them involved to collaborate with you?
