I would test it USA , NJ. I have to phones so if there was ever something wrong with the phone block phone I wouldn’t be stranded. However the more important question is when will we be able to test it.

Unfortunately you are probably correct. We most likely will not be testing for a while.

The first running tester will probably be just the basic requirements for the phone to run.

So you were accepted to become a developer?

Hold up! I was saying that you are not part of the official phonebloks team, witch consists of Dave and anyone else who manages the project/website. You sound like you are going to be making huge contributions to the coding of phonebloks. Don’t get me wrong it sounds like you are going to be a big part of this project. My previous statement would have looked more like I wanted it to if I had ended with an ! rather than a period.

Hi! As for testing, Phonebloks is a movement, not a manufacturer.
As such, we’ll never have a product of our own to distribute for testing, or other.
For testing the different concepts out there please turn to the manufacturer.

If you guys mean to test Project ara ( which is one way to realise Phoneblocks) the regsitration chance is long gone. I was choosen to b one but, as it appears, google keeps pushing the Release further and further. I got promissed to get a device whenever it gets released in my homecountry // Kontinent which would b Europe/germany.

Really? @marlin How’d you go about getting to be a tester? Because, as far as we know, Google has never made applying for testing a thing. They were going to have a closed market pilot in Puerto Rico. That was going to be the ‘beta-testing’.

@tomashalberstad there was a 5 step challenge at the beginning of project ara. If you participated in it then they would email you to be a tester. I was apart of it. It was amazing.

Seriously doubt that, and if it was, seriously doubt it was legit.
I would love to be proven wrong here.
Send me a link, screenshot of the e-mail or whatever to back up your story.
