We are making a shredder for our college workshop, we only need it for recycling of LDPE particles which are going into waste from the injection molding process being carried out. The idea being that we will be shredding the excess of theses particles back to “nearly granules size”. We saw the video, but couldn’t come up with the proper motor specs. we know that a .5 HP motor would be adequate with rpm of 1400, but the gear reduction and the speed of the blade axle is something that we can’t determine.
