Voltage regulator to avoid burning bandheaters?
Our stainless steel bandheaters for the injection machine (bought on Ebay for about 5USD) are not lasting long (4 months approx. while they are not being used continuously).
The voltage is not very stable in Tanzania and we wonder if a voltage regulator could prolong the life span of the bandheaters. Does anyone have a similar experience?
We are currently working with one brass nozzle heater (let´s see how long it lasts) and thought about buying and testing a ceramic one.
