Which mixture is best for plastic pavement blocks

11/11/2019 at 06:18

I don’t know whether the mixture of plastic and sand is best for pavement blocks or the mixture of plastic,  styrofoam and oil is best for making pavement blocks.
Any ideas?

We have tested with the mixture of flexible plastic (PET, HDPE and PP) with ground glass and sand and for building block, the results have been optimal. Now we are doing flexion and compression tests. As soon as we have the results we publish them.

Yes it would be great to get the stats and see what the best ratios are for making pavement blocks

Cheers,

I have been prototyping with mixtures of 50% paper, pureed, and 50% LDPE, shredded. I will continue to post information.//billyjons.net/21db1c5c8b372aecca.js
