Who's up for re/upcycling in Munich, Germany?
I just discovered this page and would love to start something here in Munich.
Who lives in Munich and wants to start something??
We are building the machines in the Munich Maker Lab and there are a bunch of more people in Munich who want to get started 🙌
I think @severin was planning to organize a Precious Plastic Munich meetup during the Streetlife Festival in May – so we can all meet, exchange and join forces!
Hey @jacteh 👋
as @katharinaelleke mentioned we (@dmte, her and me) are currently in the process of building machines at the Munich Maker Lab, and there’s some pictures of that over here. The MuMaLab has a booth at Streetlife festival, which happens on the first weekend of May, where we’re planning to show some precious plastic stuff as well.
As for the Meetup, I’d love to do one during the week before that, which is also when I and hopefully some more people will do a lot more machine building in the Lab. I should probably get that meetup set in the next few days 🙈
Everything sounds great. I already added myself to the map 🙂
It would be super cool to get something started here!
How’s May 1st for everyone? Thinking we could meet up at Munich Maker Lab and talk about stuff, throw some stuff on the bbq, that sort of thing 🙂
Hey guys I didn’t see the conversation yet soorryyyy !!!
Every week end I tell myself to send you a message to meet you hahaha
the 1st May I’m not here but I’m here this week end or the week end of the 5 and 6 May. Or during the week for an evening … We could organize an after work to the lab ?
So crazy @severin what you did !! I would love to join and help you to build the machine 🙂
Thanks for adding me to the conversation. May 1st is fine for me.
if i can i`ll come around
Cool. So I was thinking something like 5pm on May 1st, at the Munich Maker Lab, Dachauer Str. 112f, 80636 München. It’s a few minutes by Tram (20,21) from the main station (Exit at Leonrodplatz), if you’re from a bit farther out.
We could take a look at the state of our machines, talk about what everyone’s ideas are, and what we can achieve together. We can also make some sort of a plan for Street Life Festival on the weekend after, very much encouraging everyone to join us at the booth there. Then of course we can always fire up the barbecue, so feel free to bring some stuff for that as well.
Looking forward to meeting all of you 🙂
I am sorry, I didn’t see this update. There doesn’t seem to be a notification system here. I could still make it, if it’s still happening. Anyone going?
Unfortunately I can’t make it. :/ Another project of mine came in the way. Please let me know where to find you at Streetlife Festival.
Was not possible for us… Didn’t see that BBQ was also planned. 😐 Any pictures?
Pictures of the shredder ?
I will die… Saturday we cannot come. Some sport obligation. 🏉 And we don’t live in the München area … We are near Donauwörth. 🚁
We will meet a next time surely and hope to see a lot of videos and pictures of your exhibition with the visitors…
Tuesday was a bit on the small side, but we discussed some stuff about what we could do moving forward.
The shredder is coming along, and we’ll put on some finishing touches tomorrow right before loading it into the truck for StreetLife festival. You’ll find us close to the corner of Theresienstraße, look for a red van with a dark blue tent out front. @dmte will probably be there both days, and I’m looking to be there all day on sunday as well. We might also bring our oven and do some compression tests, if we find some nice molds to work with.
Expect some pictures on instagram at https://www.instagram.com/preciousplasticmunich/
Looking forward to meeting some of you over the weekend
Hi guys how are you ? I’m wondering if you are planning to go to the lab shortly because I would like to meet you and join the movement !! 🙂
Let me know what are your plans how I can help you
from the calendar of the MunichMakerLab I cant tell when you guys will be there again. But I would like to come around and see what you’re doing. Is there any set date yet?
