I could probably figure out how to make a vending machine and that would automate like thousands of people in this country (which means profits from saved costs of thousands of salaries, thousands times 15k a year adds up)…  Most of my experience is in JavaScript because I am poor and am self taught… I do have experience with Espruino Microcontroller which is absolutely essential to automation… If you want to buy my plane ticket and give me a place to stay and money for food and travel bla bla lol… multi year commitment to destroy the retail market of Mali… seriously its got to get done… my info goo.gl/QxentU

Good for you 🙂
Hey freelance webmaster, want your feedback on my offline, single page, 100% JavaScript, web app goo.gl/Um2MAk it has the source editor embedded for viewing so everybody starts off with the init version (will update someday) but can then copy and paste whatever they want and have their own version… I have lots of things from there on

ok, if responses are so sparse, if I can get anybody to respond to anything at all, tell me this… if you take any human from any moment in history and show them that gif, imagine they fully comprehended what it meant, and then explained how there were literally over a hundred million people acting in function as a vending machine in order to have money to afford a place to eat and sleep etc.  would you not call that a concentration camp of a society?  Structural violence is the phrase I’ve heard people use… all the land has been deeded, all of the resources have been fenced off, most individuals cant do most things for themselves without money (aka to buy someone elses thing)… What do you make of this jobs for the sake of jobs thing… concentration camp or stockholm syndrome?

I distinguish between communism and socialism in the sense that socialism is literally the simple act of subsidy from the government, communism is where its more like Walden 2 except without the crazy social engineering… read that book, it was enjoyable

Your flag says you’re in China?
Why did the Marxists and Communists and whoever else never focus on automation?

Lol, actually I recommend not watching a lot of automation communism videos… it’s not a complicated topic, you can comprehend the idea without decades and decades of youtube videos lol (that gif does a good job)… its not like the vegan population where the underlying thing is a super structure ethic that applies to everything which changes interpretations of many many things… its a substructure political party type thing (which more invalidates than merely change interpretation, like a default null vs a – going to a +)…  My activism booklet goo.gl/WYJJtR

Probably over a hundred million human vending machines in the world (people guarding bubble gum and potato chips instead of a machine doing it)… jobs for the sake of jobs so people can have money instead of genuine contributions (many other useless jobs but human vending machines is the most, in everybody’s face, example)… Curious if there’s any desire whatsoever to make the attempt to spark the commune movement described in Walden 2 with your Kamp… if so, just wanting to offer my JavaScript labor for the matching algorithms and anything else I can…

Just try harder… you’re not trying hard enough… I love how that’s the response (and nothing that addresses any of the details I mentioned, especially about the information era or job posting sites), just try harder on this thing you can never independently verify… it’s like me claiming you can achieve enlightenment if you just spend the next thirty years meditating outside a Buddhist temple, what? it hasn’t worked for you yet? try harder…  keep digging until you find the crucified dwarf clan mummified in gold silk, what? haven’t found them yet?  keep digging…  keep applying until you find someone who will give you a job, what? you’ve sent out hundreds/thousands of applications? keep trying…

This is the information era and this economy is blatantly fake (millions of human vending machines in this country alone)… if you want to have a real conversation about the actual reasons why someone like me would have a hard time finding work, I’m all for it, but your comment is just not intellectually honest…  Otherwise perhaps we can talk about ways to create work, do people never start projects with others on preciousplastic.com ?

I must say I am extremely upset…
(Listening to this on loop while I type https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHP-bpI7Ouw)

Ever since I learned of preciousplastic.com just have been taking the time incorporating those sets of facts about the possibilities of this world… gears, flywheels, springs, oscillations with weights and levers, etc.  5V systems, JavaScript, Policy Notes… goo.gl/WYJJtR

I have discussions on Facebook and people just insist on the solution is banning plastic…  I want to turn everybody into plastic smiths…  They do not comprehend, if you just spend a week collecting and scanning and take moments to think it through as to where to scan next… learn it… I am extremely poor (I have at most $10 in my bank account and have rarely had anything at all, a while since it’s been over $50)…  I could not find a job (you would think it should be extremely easy in this information era but I can explain the actual technical details and why it would be more possible for someone with money than someone without, despite it being purely artificial *aka software and hardware*)… my info I give people around town and online with the job posting sites or just directly… goo.gl/QxentU

Anyways, I’m sure my failure to find work has been because of all of my other policies (I’ve always assumed most people here have plenty of cash), not just because I think the Zeitgeist went out of their way to make recycling as boring as possible when they could have had your plastic smith containers everywhere…  It’s a population of people who have all just opted out of recycling being this totally other thing…  like the ability to make things has been removed from their subroutine protocols or something… smiths of other materials like carpenters probably agree on some level…

I say a good plot for a series of/or video game would be the non distorted story of the Matrix where there was this AI entity named Smith that infected everything but it wasn’t this nightmare because applied to this actual world everybody could be a plastic smith making bikes and yachts and generating power with weights, gears and levers, especially in the summer with fresnel lenses and an actual web app video game style software interaction that keeps you organized and explains how to do things and lists all of the popular options (can filter by price or forum activity or anything, source code rendered in the ACE cloud editor as an option in the dashboard)… I’m considering spending the last $10 on a grid of fresnel lenses from the dollar tree… rigid on the same plane and bounce the light from all of the focals to a single focal with mirrors… string on a spring so you can, by hand, pull off and on fresnel lenses from the grid to adjust the temperature to where it needs to be to melt the different types of plastics with the amount of sun you’re getting at that particular moment (plans on building the automation for that with JavaScript on a microcontroller, theoretically can be analog with the gear to thermistor synchronizations)…

I bet I could do it, but then there are all these other projects I could spend that money on…  if you found this post a giant joke, well, I guess I’ll laugh with you, but if anybody ever wants to actually do that…  well why not?

did you ever make that document?  I’d love to see what you came up with

If I had to guess, I’d say the red block closest to the camera in that last photo would be the strongest of them all… highest temperature and it maintained it’s form when the others liquefied… perhaps that intuition is wrong?  The longer it’s in the oven, the more energy it absorbs, the stronger it will be?

@izonargienel

You wont know until you try…

We gotta get better at documenting this stuff, the actual experiments, not some calculator for polymers and bonding agents and any of that gobbledygook, love the photo of the grid of results, need to do that for failure testing for I beams and whatever else that is easily extruded…  The different methods need to be tested as well, extrusion vs heat compression etc.  🙂 so much work to do

@panamaid

Just in the interest of trying to talk to someone who’s part of the problem, I’d really like to get your feedback… do you think military personnel are morally responsible for incorporating the policy decisions for how the military is used in terms of their choice to be in the military?   Like does the idea of Justice and Ethics have any weight whatsoever for you?

This is what their documentation gives.  It wouldn’t take that long… especially if you just go with a basic I-Beam and reform the plastic… actually that’s another thing that would need testing… how much strength do you loose every time you reform?  Videos are needed… professional videos

@panamaid
It’s hilarious how people who join the military feel as though they have no moral responsibility in the policy decisions of how the military is used… you look like you’re posing in a military photo… are you?

You’re more than a little silly if you think you can distort the association away from the word army…

Why are you calling it an army?  I almost decided not to join the forum just because I don’t want to be associated with that violent and abusive cult mentality…  My country has an army that is directly responsible for the humanitarian crisis in Yemen where a child dies from preventable causes every ten minutes, if my country’s army had said, no we’re not supporting the Saudi’s, or even told the Saudi’s that they don’t want them to invade Yemen it could have turned out different… hilarious that you’re associating such a worthwhile movement with a bunch of immoral psychopaths largely responsible for most of the world’s issues, either directly as the army or after they discharge and join groups like the CIA and NSA as veterans to orchestrate coups and terrorist attacks… Please pick a different word…
