Hi all,

We have completed our Shredder/ Extruder unit after 2 years of testing and refining. Currently in the Pacific islands demonstrating the unit. Building our first 5 machines to be sent out by April, then the next 5 over 6-12 months. Happy to answer any questions, we aim to reach the remote and under-developed islands where waste management is a major issue.

Hi, we have made a shredder/ extruder machine in Coffs Harbour, NSW Australia. Starting last year in July our prototype is now complete and currently just testing the extruder and adding safety mechanisms.

We aim to sell units within Australia and the Pacific Ocean region, starting with 10 in the first year including a specialised training program with it- focusing on the chemistry of plastics and how to work with plastics.

If you are interested please check out my website http://www.thepacificcollective.com.au or email me (Louise) at [email protected].

Happy to discuss the problems and solutions we met along the way also.
The picture of the machine is still in raw prototype stage and will look alot nicer when painted and tidied up,

Cheers

Hi Korbyn,
I am interested in getting in touch, I am an environmental marine science teacher putting together an (potentially ambitious) project for the Pacific Ocean, I am working full time on it and have developed some interesting resources. I live near Coffs Harbour, and have sourced some funding to kick start. I am keen to get in touch, please email me [email protected]
Cheers,
Louise

Hi Cecilia,
I am not from Taiwan but Australia. I am putting together a program hopefully link people in the Pacific Ocean together through these machines and recycling. I will keep you updated and hopefully come to Taiwan one day soon.

I really like the idea of building materials for communities that are in remote areas but have plenty of plastic waste around, such as garden tiles, pavements, etc. I have been looking into different products and believe it is viable but mostly to supply individual communities, as plastic things are so cheap, but shipping is not.

Hi,
I live in Australia, northcoast. We are in the process of making the machines and would love to connect with you in Bali. I am putting together an education program to run through the Pacific (fingers crossed) and want to get machines to as many places as possible.
You can email me on [email protected] if you like.

Hello, I am so happy to find Precious plastics, as I have been searching for something like this for a while now. I live near Woolgoolga, North coast NSW (half way between Sydney and Brisbane) and am a Marine Biologist/ Environmental Science Teacher. I am at the beginning of starting The Pacific Collective – with the aim of removing plastic from the pacific ocean. I am in talks with scientists at the National Science Marine Centre (Coffs Harbour) and am working with a mechanic friend who is looking over the blueprints and we aim to make the machines and get started, asap.
Looking forward to learning and sharing,
Thanks Dave and team for your inspiration, foresight and dedication. I hope we can contribute back to you and team.
Cheers
Louise Hardman
