That’s funny, when I read your message I am currently trying to print my phone case using 3D printer. I don’t know if this gonna work because I never designed anything before, but it’s fun.
I personally use PLA it is flexible and safe, to get something flexible but not too much, I use a thickness of 2 mm. Also, I am building it in 3 parts, one for the frame, one for the screen and one of the back (maybe I am going to use the same for the screen and the back)
I am using freeCAD to design my stuffs and Cura to print them to my printer.
I wanted to tell you all the dimensions but I found easier and more useful to you to give you the link to the archive, the archive contains the freeCAD files and STL files. Don’t directly print the STL files, my phone is an LG K10 2016, the dimensions are weird. You can change the dimensions if you want. Also, If you need the formulas about how I calculated the sizes, you can ask them.
This is the link to my Dropbox folder: https://www.dropbox.com/s/rf3mds5tdy7bn4r/phone%20case%20freecad.zip?dl=0
And this is the dimensions of my phone:
Max Height: 10 mm
Max Width: 75 mm
Max Length: 147 mm
I hope this helped you, if you got any questions, feel free to ask them.
