IPhone X mould!!
Took me around:
-22hours of designing
-310€ of aluminum stock
-couple Cnc bits
-6 different mould tries
I have make a few modifications to the mould!
Now the injection hole is at oposite side that means the case is clean and the injection sign is inside the case
what do you mean mould directory?
the only way at moulding is the aluminium..
all the rest working just for few times:(
Very interesting idea!
it will be great to combine extruder and injection to avoid! the manual refill !
Hello!! Thanks for sharing!
I have try similar mould with Pp plastic! I found the result too soft..
We need to find more hard plastic!
looking forward for your fiber glass try!
according to my tests doesn’t matter the thickness of the mould at compression machine because all the mould reach high temperature..
only at injection machine you need specific thickness cause the mould is cold
the thickness depent from:
-the size of the mould
-from the type of plastic
-the force of the injection
*maybe this question is not for this topic

i had the same problem at the mould!! i put the one part back to the cnc and i milled that perimetrical line !after that used the mould just with the screws! i thought that was my mistake when i exported the cam thats why i didn’t mention it!
The mold made it via cnc machine and the material was pp..
cool idea! nice
More creations with the help of cnc!
Cool lamp!!!if you can break the plastic easily means the temperature is high, i have little experience about the ABS i tried one time only but the result was the same or similar color as before (i have note the temperature i will let you know)

Hello!I tried days ago the lpde (4) for my first time! i found it perfect for the case ! soft goes everywhere with not so much pressure like pp

As you can see on the pictures below the result is not 100% professional like Jerzeek cases but for me to mill such a complex mould with 3axis cnc it was challenge!
Once more i would like to thank again @jerzeek who share the files for free!
