hi there,  i made  mine on the  lathe  from  brass.  turned it down  till it fitted snug  and  works well i can send  pic  for you .

As i remember i only had 3/8″ rod so i used that on all my holes, you will have to re size the hole in a cad program. We use CAM Bam.

but u can use and cad program that will in port .dxf files

thanks, no, Fly wheel has to be on the shredder end not motor side . It is the momentum of the flywheel that takes some of the load off the motor.
A single Phase motor will fail with a reverse switch . What wiring diagram did u would u have used.

do you call river sand Sharp Sand , Bickies Sand is called fat sand with some Clay in there. the Russian sand looks like it had clay in there.

ok thanks.. i am running 80 rpm.. and is jamming as well..

recon i will have to slow it down,. Is you machine direct drive or belt drive.

What speed does the shredder run at? I have built mine and i think is is to fast
80 rpm. plastic jumps around and will not shred,

any idears

I use CAM BAM works very well and not to hard to learn.
I have 3 cnc machines all running Linux CNC.

hi mate i wan to use my cnc to cut out the parts for the shredder…do u know how to view them then xport them as .dxf.. so i can inport them in to Cam Bam
